Description
The permanent art collection of the Bruce Museum includes more than 15,000 objects representing a wide variety of world cultures, with special strengths in American and European art. These collections are essential to the many object-based educational programs offered at the Museum and often provide the rationale for the shows that we organize. To celebrate a century of collecting and teaching, we are mounting this exhibition comprised of about 100 recent gifts to the Museum divided into two successive installations.
This show offers an opportunity to highlight some of the remarkable donations that we have received in recent years and tout the diversity of these gifts and their exceptional quality.
