One of the ways we are meeting our mission is through our First Annual Homestead Farmers Market at Chrysalis Center, opening on June 27th from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Chrysalis Center has become a food hub in the North End of Hartford, known as the food desert, through our Freshplace food pantry, Railway Gardens, La Cocina – Industrial Kitchen, and now our Farmers Market, we are eliminating the lack of access to nutritious foods and are providing healthy, fresh food in the Upper Albany neighborhood, where fresh food is expensive and hard to come by.
